Never have I experienced a more magical sunset than that evening at Lake Tahoe in California. Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada. It’s popularly known for its beaches and ski resorts.  It was an impromptu road trip to Tahoe from San Francisco, last winter. We quickly packed our bags on an early Saturday morning, booked a cosy accommodation at the Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge on Groupon (on-the-fly) and hit the roads.
