My name is Santwona Patnaik.
I am an avid writer, blogger, travel enthusiast and nature lover, set on a journey to spin magic with words. Writing and travelling define the two major passions of my life. So, writing travelogues is much more than just a job for me. Being a keen observer, my travel experiences often sound a little offbeat with a personal touch. I believe that every person I meet in my journeys and every place I visit, has its own story and I strive to bring all these little stories to life.
I love to pen down my thoughts about any subject – be it a place, person, current affairs or events. I’ve mostly worked in writing non-fiction with shades of my personal experiences. I love being around honest people and detest discrimination in any form.
What I mostly work on
I offer services like freelance content writing, product reviews (book, place, events, travel accommodations, restaurants, gadgets, transport), transcript interviews and sponsored posts.
The work I do, is solely based on my discretion. I will take up work that I personally feel relevant and in sync with the tone of my work. I write, what I believe in. Random social media gimmicks are not my cup of tea.
My Journey
Founded in 2018, WANDER BIRD is my maiden attempt at travel writing and blogging, which compiles all my travel stories across the world. It promises to strike the right balance between both facts and human emotions involved in the narration of each of its travel story.
The Social and Lifestyle segment – Unleashed Thoughts – comprises of all non-travel related articles, acing the categories like social causes, true stories, lifestyle, relationships, festivals etc. It mostly communicates about the innumerable perceptions of a human mind. Every single aspect in this universe is unique and commands a description of its own. Considering the intricacies of life, I offer a refreshing and uninhibited take on every aspect of life (mostly inspired by personal experiences).
