Photo Blog Series on Lake Tahoe – California
Never have I experienced a more magical sunset than that evening at Lake Tahoe in California. Lake Tahoe is a large freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, straddling the border of California and Nevada. It’s popularly known for its beaches and ski resorts.
It was an impromptu road trip to Tahoe from San Francisco, last winter. We quickly packed our bags on an early Saturday morning, booked a cosy accommodation at the Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge on Groupon (on-the-fly) and hit the roads. With small pit-stops for food and refreshments, we made it to Lake Tahoe by afternoon.
Wish I could exactly describe how I felt, on that first look at the serene Lake Tahoe. It felt like we were just in the right place, at the right time. The colours of the gorgeous sky kept changing every 5 minutes. I stopped clicking pictures after a while and decided to just soak in all the goodness of nature. Today, I present you with the vibrant shades of nature at Lake Tahoe in a photo blog series titled – “The Mystic Colours of Tahoe”. It captures the mood of a single evening at the banks of Lake Tahoe, California.

A visit to California can never be complete without a visit to Lake Tahoe! You should add that in your travel check-list for sure.
Much Love,
